After i read the article about characteristics of digital media, surely i say that computer is very usefull for us. Especially as the generation of teacher it will be usefull for us for make the proccess of teaching and learning more easly. Based on the article i know that computers provide so many media for teaching and learning. And i think it can make our teaching and learning proccess more effective rather than use tradisional tools.
Based on the article, we know that technology give so many advantages. As we know that as a student we have so many assignment in each course. And i think Microsoft office, mr.google, and a lot of software are very close with us when we did our assignment, because it makes us more easly to do our assignment. For example : we used microsoft word to make this reflective journal and the other journal , and also we used microsoft power point to make a group presentation, then when we have some projects, usually we used some kinds of software from the computer. It showed that technology has the important effects in teaching and learning process.
In contrast, technology is not only has the possitive effects but also it has the negative effects. As we know that in indonesia there are some phenomenon of the negative effects of technology, such as “kutu internet” which is can make people be lazy to do her/his activies because he/she just standing in front of the computer. This is only one example of the negative effects of the technology. there aer so many other negative effects of technology.
As a result, we , as the generation of teacher should give the treatment to our students to used technology wisely and make sure that our students understand about how to used technology wisely. I think it will decreased the negative effects of technology. and i hope by using technology our teaching and learning proccess will be more effective.
I just want to say something that as SSE students we have one moto “together we can make a different”. So we have to be the real generation of teachear. Thanks.... *_*

Well, in this decade, technology for teaching is increasing. I agree with your opinion that technology helps in teaching second language...However, there are also many disadvantages. It is teacher responsibility to give some advices to students how to use technology wisely..
