Technology and Second Language Teaching
Technology is a tool for help human to doing something. That is my opinion about technology. Then, after i read the article about technology and second language teaching, i know that actually technology is not only usefull for help human to do something but also it is very usefull for learning language. In this article, showed that technology as the medium to learn language in some methodologies of learning.
As i know from the article and from educational psychology course that learning has some methodologies. Such as grammar translation-method, Audiolingual-method and so on. Then, In each type of methodologies has had its own technology to support it. Based on the article,in 1970s the audio-tape or we called it tape-recorder is one of the perfect medium in Audiolingual-method, to emphasized learning trough oral repetition. In contrast, the blackboard, projector, and was improved to computer software are the medium in grammar-translation method. So If i compare these methodologies, i do not know exactly what is the best method to learn language because each method has its own perspectives in learning like cognitive or sociocognitive approaches.
From the explanation in paragraph 2 , i think that use technology in learning and teaching language is more easier and save the time and also more effective to make the students get the material. It is showed in case study from the article. That it is very usefull to use technology in language learning either in foreign or bilingual language.
In addition, nowadays there are so many technology as a medium in language learning, such as printer, computer, e-book, teleconfrences, and so on. These kind of technology are the medium to learn language in speaking, listening, reading, and writing aspect. So , i think that technology is powerfull to use in language learning. But, without technology we still can teaching, learning and do something. Because the main idea is not technology but the human itself. Technology just tools for make easier, but human are the main actors in learning language.

Good reflection, Muthmainah. However, this would have been stronger if you had focused on your last point, about human as the main actor.
ohh,,, oke sir,, actually you are right,
i lost my important point and just put it in the last paragraph....
for the next journal, i will be more concern with the main point.
